Final KYC rules and supported regions will be confirmed and published before TGE. The information below reflects current expectations and is subject to change.
KYC requirements
KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification may be required for validator node operators depending on:
- Jurisdiction — Certain countries or regions require identity verification for participants in blockchain validator programs
- License tier — Specific node types may require KYC regardless of jurisdiction
- Managed hosting — If using a managed node provider, the provider may have their own KYC process
When KYC is required
KYC requirements will be communicated to node holders during the onboarding process before TGE. If KYC is required for your situation, you will be guided through the verification process before node activation.
Token issuance entity
Token issuance and all token-related operations are administered through a British Virgin Islands (BVI) entity. Protocol development and ecosystem governance operate independently from token administration.
Jurisdictional restrictions
Autheo will publish a list of supported regions before TGE. Operators in restricted jurisdictions may not be eligible to activate a validator node or claim emission rewards.
Managed provider compliance
If you select a managed hosting provider (InfStones, Zeeve), the provider may have their own compliance requirements in addition to Autheo’s. Review each provider’s terms of service and acceptable use policy.
