Architecture

Autheo utilizes Tendermint Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus, a highly efficient variation of Proof of Authority (PoA), to ensure fast transaction finality, robust security, and a decentralized validator set. The Tendermint BFT protocol provides a solid foundation for high-performance blockchain networks, allowing Autheo to maintain low-latency transaction processing while ensuring strong network integrity. Validators are responsible for proposing, validating, and securing new blocks in the network, thus maintaining the overall health and decentralization of the blockchain. They are incentivized through rewards generated by staking Autheo’s native tokens ($THEO), and delegators can participate in the network’s consensus by staking tokens with trusted validators, ensuring both security and scalability at scale.
